How to find the carrier SCAC code

If you are ever in doubt which SCAC code to use for a given carrier, head to the Look Up > Carriers / SCAC Lookup

Find SCAC code

The following page allows the user to find the SCAC code and the various synonyms associated with that carrier name. 


Let's check out the entry for PIL 

  • SCAC: e.g. PCIU - use the following SCAC code when uploading containers into the system 
  • Full Name: e.g. Pacific International Lines
  • Synonyms: e.g. PILN, PABV - those could also be used as a recognised input for carrier name / SCAC at the time of the upload
